Dedova Lyudmila Nikolaevna from 1969 to 1974 studied at the Odessa State Medical Institute at the Faculty of Dentistry. After graduating from medical school, she worked as a dentist in practice. In 1980, she completed her postgraduate studies, and in 1999, her doctoral studies at the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry No. 1 at the St. Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education under the direction of Yu.A. Fedorov.
In 1982 she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Medical examination of patients with periodontal disease using vacuum diagnostics and treatment.”
In 2000, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Vacuum-darsonvalization in the treatment of periodontal diseases and oral mucosa (clinical and experimental study).”
In 2003 he was awarded the title of professor.
Since 1984 he has been working at the Belarusian State Medical University at the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry.
Since 2003, he has been the head of the 3rd Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of the Belarusian State Medical University.
Since 2022, he has been heading the Department of Periodontology at BSMU.
In total, she has published more than 300 scientific papers, has 44 inventions and 40 improvement proposals, and more than 300 speeches on periodontology. The most significant publications: Vacuum-darsonvalization in dentistry; Diagnostics, treatment, prevention and medical examination in periodontology; New theoretical aspects and classification of periodontal diseases; Diagnosis and treatment of erosive and ulcerative lesions of the mouth in mucology; textbook “Therapeutic dentistry. Periodontal diseases"; Comprehensive diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of endoperiodontitis; “Features of restoration of hard dental tissues in patients with periodontal diseases”; "Dentine sensitivity: diagnosis, treatment."
The department has prepared 10 candidate and 3 doctoral dissertations, including 9 on periodontology and the oral mucosa. The scientific works of Professor L.N. Dedova were repeatedly presented at international and republican congresses, congresses, and conferences.
For many years, he has been the chief freelance specialist in liver surgery of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, chairman of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus, deputy chairman of the State Electrical Establishment under the Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, member of the Board of the Society of Surgeons of the Republic of Belarus, member of the editorial boards and editorial boards of specialized medical journals.
From 1975 to the present, member of the primary trade union organization. Since 2012, member of the ROO "Belaya Rus", and since 2022 of the Belarusian Women's Union of BSMU. Since 2008, full member of the International Academy of Dentists (ADI). Since 2008 Chairman of the Belarusian Republican Public Association of Dental Specialists.
Founder and editor-in-chief of the scientific and practical journal “Dentist”, as well as a member of the editorial boards of foreign journals, including the Journal of Clinical Research.
For her fruitful long-term work, L.N. Dedova was awarded the following signs: “Excellence in Health Care of the Republic of Belarus”, “For significant personal contribution to the development of MGMI-BSMU”; honorary medals: St. Petersburg State Medical University, “Honorary Doctor of the Eurasian Union of States”; BSMU memorial clock; honorary diplomas and certificates: “For many years of conscientious work and high professional excellence in the field of healthcare” from the Member State of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the Presidium of the Republican Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and BSMU. The American Bibliographical Institute awarded her the title “Woman of the Year” (1998).

Yulia Leonidovna Denisova is a developer of standard curricula for the disciplines "Therapeutic Dentistry", elective courses "Physiotherapy of periodontal diseases", including for training in English, the author of educational and methodical complexes, including electronic educational and methodical complexes for training in English.
Area of scientific interests: periodontology, orthodontics, orthopedic dentistry, physiotherapy, periodontal diseases in combination with dento-mandibular anomalies and deformities, temporomandibular joint diseases.
In 2015, she received the scholarship of the President of RB to talented young scientists.
Awarded a diploma of I degree for the first place in the ranking of doctors of medical sciences of BSMU for 2017-2018.

Solomevich Alexander Sergeevich

graduated from the Minsk Order of the Red Banner of Labor State Medical Institute in 1996 with a degree in Dentistry. From 1996 to 1998 completed clinical residency training.

Since 2003, assistant at the 3rd Department of Therapeutic Dentistry, since 2006 as an associate professor.
From 2022 to the present, Associate Professor of the Department of Periodontology, BSMU.
In 2005, under the guidance of Professor Lyudmila Nikolaevna Dedova, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic “Treatment of dentin sensitivity with medications and vacuum-darsonvalization.”
In 2008, he was awarded the title of associate professor.
More than 120 printed works have been published, a patent of the Eurasian Patent Office, published 10 teaching aids in Russian and English, including co-author of 1 textbook approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, postgraduate education programs.
