Simulation and Attestation Center is equipped with modern simulation equipment, which makes it possible to conduct training simulation courses in the areas of «therapy», «obstetrics and gynecology», «anesthesiology and resuscitation», «pediatrics», «neonatology», «general medical practice», «surgery», «medical care and manipulation technique», «first aid», «urology», «otorhinolaryngology», «ophthalmology», «propaedeutic of internal diseases».

Since 2014, Simulation and Attestation Center (SAC) has been implementing educational programs for the training of medical personnel using simulation technologies at all stages of continuous professional education:

  • higher education (from the 1st to the 6th year);
  • internship, clinical residency, residency;
  • additional adult education (advanced training and professional retraining);
  • a training center for training the population according to the training program «First Aid».

Simulation and Attestation Center allows you to develop the ability to make quick decisions and flawlessly perform a number of manipulations or interventions, especially in emergency conditions.

Special training of an anesthesiologist-resuscitator must necessarily form stable practical skills and abilities. The traditional system of education does not allow achieving this goal and must be combined with a wide range of simulation educational methods that meet international requirements.

In Simulation and Attestation Center students-subordinators in anesthesiology and resuscitation master the skills of performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, intubation, spinal and lumbar puncture to the level of 'own'. On the most modern patient simulators, the teacher simulates urgent conditions, sets clinical tasks for a group of students with further debriefing and a step-by-step analysis of the actions of each team member. The virtual simulator of the patient itself determines the timeliness, correctness and sufficiency of performing manipulations, the accuracy of following the drawn up protocol. The teacher in online mode introduces new inputs by managing the clinical situation and bringing it as close as possible to real life.

The pediatric module is equipped with modern interactive simulators of a premature, newborn, one-year-old, three-year-old and five-year-old child. Pediatric subordinators master the primary resuscitation of newborns to the level of 'ownership', solve clinical situations on respiratory support for newborns, correction of hemodynamics and infusion therapy, followed by debriefing and discussion of the mistakes made.

Subordinators in neonatology solve clinical problems of fetal hypoxia and asphyxia of the newborn (primary resuscitation), stop respiratory distress syndrome, aspiration syndrome, neonatal sepsis, conduct the post-resuscitation period. The student is taught the skills of working in a team of neonatologists, independent and quick decision-making while unconditionally following the standard treatment protocol.

The obstetric-gynecological module is equipped with a computer simulation system for childbirth «VirtuEl». Students apply techniques and aids for vaginal birth in head and breech presentation, take rapid labor and assess the condition of the newborn on the APGAR scale. Perineal suturing techniques are performed, studies are carried out in mirrors and the data obtained are interpreted. Each student performs the entire algorithm independently under the control of the teacher and computer systems of the simulator.

Therapy subordinators solve clinical situations for threatening arrhythmias and conduction disorders (with an assessment of ECG and hemodynamic parameters), perform a set of resuscitation measures in case of sudden cardiac death. On simulators of auscultation and palpation, a differential diagnosis of cardiopulmonary and abdominal syndromes is carried out under the direct supervision of a teacher.

Training of subordinators in surgery is carried out in the surgical module of the center. Students study the biomechanical properties of various sutures, apply sutures with a further assessment of the correctness of their application and the degree of tension by a computer, practice the skills of applying an intestinal suture, knitting deep knots, etc. conducting trainings using the «LapSim» surgical virtual simulator. Independently perform various types of punctures.

Simulation and Attestation Center conducts trainings for clinical residents and doctors using the virtual ENT surgery simulator «VoxelMan ENT», the virtual diagnostic ultrasound simulator «Vaymedics», the surgical virtual simulator «LapSim», the virtual respiratory therapy simulator «RespiSim».
