Ideological and educational work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a course of advanced training and retraining is carried out in accordance with the plan of ideological and educational work of the department for the current academic year.
Purpose and objectives of ideological and educational work
Target: development of a well-rounded, morally mature, creative personality of future pharmacists and advanced training students.
Tasks:
- Formation of citizenship, patriotism and national identity on the basis of state ideology;
- Preparation for independent life, professional self-determination, choice of profession and work;
- Formation of moral, aesthetic culture and culture in the field of environmental protection and nature management;
- Formation of a family relations culture; creation of conditions for socialization, self-development and self-realization of the student's personality
- Development of skills in the field of interpersonal communications and psychological culture;
- Formation of a responsible attitude towards professional and environmental aspects of education, preparation of students for professional life and work;
- Raising cultural and intellectual level of students, introducing students to art and aesthetic education, and creative self-realization.
For the 2025/2026 academic year N.I. Mikhailova has been appointed as Deputy Head of Department for Ideological and Educational Work.
In the 2025/2026 academic year, associate professors V.N. Belyatsky (group 8204) and G.I. Gorbatsevich (group 8203), senior lecturers N.M. Borabanova (8405), N.I. Mikhailova (groups 8401, 8502) and N.I. Mandrik (group 8404, 8506), and assistant V.A. Terletskaya (group 8402, 8501) have been appointed curators of study groups.
Ideological and educational work is carried out both during study hours and outside of study hours in the form of curatorial and informational hours: round tables, information digests, thematic informational hours, discussions, etc.
Student groups review cultural, sporting, and political events both domestic and international. Much attention is paid to fostering patriotism and a healthy lifestyle, as well as ethical issues and professional competencies.
Students in the supervised groups of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, who are taking a course on advanced training and retraining, along with their faculty, actively participate in the social life of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the entire university, participating in university exhibitions and organizing Open Days.
Together with students they regularly attend the most significant cultural events and exhibitions held in Minsk and participate in socially significant events.
Volunteer group "Ecofarm" of the Faculty of Pharmacy
The Department runs a student volunteer group called "Ecopharm" (led by senior lecturer Nadezhda Igorevna Mikhailova). It comprises over 50 students from the second, third, fourth, and fifth years of the Faculty of Pharmacy. Volunteer group's work is aimed at improving approaches to the collection and disposal of pharmaceutical waste and developing environmental awareness among students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the general public of the Republic of Belarus.
Staff and students regularly participate in national and local events related to healthy lifestyle promotion, health literacy, and disease prevention. Students develop projects on these topics.
The Department's staff periodically collaborates with the media (ONT TV channel "Our Morning" - interview with R.I. Lukashov on herbal medicine, on the joint prescription of medicinal products; on the choice of names for medicinal products and the system of their registration; newspaper "SB. Belarus Today" - an article on homeopathy).
