The student research circle is an excellent start for the scientific career of young medical researchers. It contributes to the formation of a creative community of young scientists who are ready for the research challenges of our time and possess all the necessary qualities for this.

Aim: the formation of the ability to navigate in the flow of scientific information, mastery of fundamental knowledge that constitutes the theoretical foundations of professional activity, the development and application of scientific knowledge in practice, as well as the training of highly qualified doctors / pharmacists who own the latest scientific achievements, who have organizational skills in conducting a collective research and innovation.

An important mechanism for the involvement of students in scientific activity is participation in the work of a scientific circle, where the cohesion of like-minded people is born, and the ability to work in a team.

The main forms of organization of students’ research work are:

  1. Own scientific research (research planning, data collection and processing, analysis, establishment of causal relationships and the formation of conclusions, solving a scientific problem with the formation of ways and means);
  2. Mastering modern programs for data processing;
  3. Individual work at the department with scientific advisers;
  4. Work in a student scientific circle;
  5. Work on scientific projects, under the guidance of the teaching staff of the department;
  6. Participation in scientific conferences, seminars, competitions, participation in scientific forums, etc.;
  7. Participation in student competitions of scientific works, including in the Republican competition of scientific works of students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus;
  8. Participation in student Olympiads;
  9. Publication of the results in scientific journals and collections, both in the Republic of Belarus and abroad.

The scientific research experience gained in the scientific circle opens the way to graduate and postgraduate studies, where training is conducted in various scientific specialties.

The student research circle is a link between students interested in scientific activity and Academic Staff. The entrance to big science begins with a scientific circle, which is a fascinating world, where the Academic Staff of the Department acts as guides.
