Educational work of Epidemiology

The educational activities of Academic Staff of the Department of Epidemiology are inherently connected with the professional training of students.

The aim of the educational work of the Department of Epidemiology is the formation of social and personal competencies of future doctors / pharmacists, the consolidation of the norms of medical ethics as the main components of the educational environment of the university, the development of information and analytical, scientific and methodological, organizational and personnel foundations of the educational process within the framework of the quality management system.

Objectives:

1. The formation of patriotic consciousness, civil-patriotic values, respect for universal human values, tolerance and humanity;
2. The formation of adaptation of students to the conditions of the university, educational work as the basis of the cognitive competence of young people, the ability to build strategies for personal and professional development and training;
3. Development of leadership competencies and management culture as important aspects of the formation of a professionally successful personality;
4. The formation of knowledge, skills, skills in the field of social and interpersonal relations, psychological culture and communicative competencies;
5. Providing conditions for the development of students' creative abilities and self-determination, self-realization, self-knowledge, personal self-development;
6. Formation of readiness to maintain mental and physical health; skills of safe life, attitudes to create a family;
7. Organization of activities for the formation of students' competencies in the field of household and cultural and leisure activities, moral, ethical and aesthetic culture;
8. Introduction of modern educational technologies.

To implement these tasks, Academic staff of the department strives to create and maintain an intellectual, creative and spiritual environment that will contribute to the maximum disclosure of the potential of students, the formation of the necessary competencies and skills to optimize the psychological climate in groups.

Educational activities with the participation of students and teachers, as well as forms, methods, game concepts and topics are planned annually, and are also adjusted if necessary during the academic year. To increase the commitment of students to important socially significant problems within the framework of common information days and world days dedicated to various problems, as well as for the perception of the material, bright presentations, visual drawings and diagrams, crosswords are used, quizzes, brain-rings, actions, round tables are organized, disputes, etc.

Educational elements are present when conducting classes on various topics; without this, the educational process and professional training of future doctors and pharmacists are impossible.

The closest attention in the framework of educational work with students of all faculties is paid to moral and ethical education, which includes the formation of respectful interpersonal relationships in groups, the upbringing of high moral qualities: kindness, tolerance, mercy, decency, honesty and politeness.

The objective of universities is to train and educate graduates who can easily perform their professional duties in any country and in any international team!
