Research interests: epidemiology, epidemiological surveillance and prevention of aerosol, intestinal infections and parasitic diseases; clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine. Author of about 400 scientific and educational publications.

Tamara S. Guzovskaya

PhD, Associate Professor

Graduated from the Minsk State Medical Institute in 1987; defended PhD thesis «Epidemic process of variccela and substantiation the system of epidemiological surveillance» in 2011. She took part in the preparation of standard curricula, discipline curricula, elective courses, special courses, practice, educational and methodological complexes, published more than 100 scientific works, including a textbook on the discipline, educational and teaching aids. Tamara S. Guzovskaya is a member of the Belarusian Scientific Medical Society of Microbiologists, Epidemiologists and Parasitologists; works as a member of the expert commission on disinfectants of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

ТGraduated from the Belarusian State University (Faculty of Biology); defended PhD thesis «Cercariae of the Schistosomatidae family as pathogens of cercarial dermatitis in reservoirs of the Minsk region on the example of Lake Naroch» in 2011. The main direction of scientific activity is parasitology (2011). Author of over 50 scientific papers, 3 instructions, 2 guidelines.

Graduated from the Minsk State Medical Institute in 1974. Since 1980 she has been working at the Department of Epidemiology of the Belarusian State Medical University. Research interests: intestinal and aerosol infections and new disinfectants.

Marharyta A. Shylava

Graduated from the BSMU in 2015. She is a member of the Belarusian Public Association of Microbiologists at the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus and the Interregional Association for Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (IACMAC). Since 2020, she has been the Head of the Department for modeling crisis situations and ensuring the functioning of the Chrysis Center of the State Institution «Republican Center for Medical Response Organization». Author of over 90 scientific publications. Research interests: clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine, epidemiology of noncommunicable diseases, pharmacoepidemiology.

Tatyana S. Vasyuk

Graduated from the BSMU in 2009. Thesis topic: «Infectious mononucleosis: etiology, epidemic process, improvement of prevention» (Scientific adviser is Doctor of Medicine, Professor Grigory N. Chistenko. Currently, the direction of scientific activity corresponds to the leading themes of the department. Tatiana S. Vasyuk takes part in the development of new teaching aids.

Graduated from the Minsk State Medical Institute in 1983; carries out the duties of the person responsible for the quality management system at the department. Author of over 20 scientific publications. Research interests: issues of various infectious diseases immunization, epidemiology of aerosol and intestinal infections.
