The Department of Pediatric Dentistry trains students of 2-5 courses of the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Medicine of foreign students in the specialty 1-79 01 07 «Dentistry» and students of the 4th year of the Faculty of Pediatrics in the specialty 1-79 01 02 «Pediatrics».
The methods of diagnosis and treatment of major dental diseases in children have undergone significant changes in the last decade. New approaches in the practice of a pediatric dentist have appeared – child’s behavior management during dental appointment, the choice of preventive measures, the use of non-invasive methods of treatment, pulp therapy, treatment of teeth with incomplete root formation. These innovations are reflected in the content of the relevant sections of the curriculum, which allowed it to meet modern international standards in pediatric dentistry.
