Student scientific circle – Department of Childhood and Adolescent Hygiene

SSC history:

SSC of Department of Childhood and Adolescent Hygiene was organized in 1968 by professor N.T. Lebedeva.

Emblem of our SSC:

Student scientific work broadens the outlook, introduces medical terminology, teaches logical thinking, allows students to master the methods of conducting scientific research, modern statistical and scientific methods of processing and analyzing the obtained material, searching, selecting and relevant topics by reviewing the necessary literature. Speeches at meetings of our student science circle and at conferences teach freedom of communication with the audience, the ability to conduct a discussion and answer questions from listeners.

The activities of the circle:

• organization and conduct of scientific research;
• preparation of reports, publications, student studies;
• regular meetings of the student scientific group, at which the results of scientific research are heard, reports on various topical problems of Childhood and Adolescent Hygiene are discussed, talks and discussions of a scientific and educational nature are held.
• organization of excursions to various institutions - facilities for the supervision of Childhood and Adolescent Hygiene and cultural campaigns;
• participation in annual conferences of students' scientific society of the university, on the section «Childhood and Adolescent Hygiene»;
• participation in scientific student forums organized by other universities of the Republic of Belarus and abroad;
• participation in the Republican review of student scientific works.
