The research work of the department associated with the study of children and adolescents health in connection with the environment.
In 1981-2020 943 research papers were published, over 509 reports were made at international and local congresses and conferences.
The research work of the department is carried out according to the university, department and individual plans of research work and includes the following aspects:
- organization and conducting of research;
- publication activities;
- scientific development of staff;
- participation in conferences, symposia, congresses;
- expert activity and peer review of scientific papers in the specialty 14.02.01 «Hygiene»;
- international cooperation.
The department carries out proactive research work «Scientific substantiation of ways to correct motor activity of children and adolescents as a direction of prevention non-infectious diseases».
Completion date: 01.01.2019-31.12.2023.
Aim: to identify disorders of schoolchildren health with different motor activity and to determine priority directions of preventive.
Objectives:
- to assess motor activity of children of different age groups;
- to study the health status of schoolchildren associated with motor activity;
- to identify risk factors of health disorders caused by motor activity;
- to develop a new method of medical prevention will provide a more effective way of motor activity correcting.
