Student research work is one of the key activities of the Student Research and Scientific Club and a way to apply the knowledge gained by students in their Russian language classes.
The Student Research and Scientific Club offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in academic communication and scientific inquiry, as well as to overcome the language barrier.
For international students, participation in the Student Research and Scientific Club is both another means of exploring the possibilities of the language and an additional source of information.
The Student Research and Scientific Club provides a path for international students to become acquainted with Russian and Belarusian history, culture, traditions, everyday life, and the healthcare system of the Republic of Belarus.
The Student Research and Scientific Club is also an aspect of intercultural communication among representatives of different countries, with the Russian language acting as the connecting link.
The Student Research and Scientific Club holds a special place in the department's overall research activities. Under the guidance of their lecturers, students prepare reports on linguocultural topics and present them at conferences.
Department lecturers supervise the research work of both international and Belarusian students within the Student Research and Scientific Club, acting as advisors in the preparation of presentations for the annual International Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Current Issues in Modern Medicine and Pharmacy.” Every two years, the department holds the National Student Reading Conference “Dialogue of Languages and Cultures.”
