Visit of the delegation from the Perm region of the Russian Federation

On the 25^th of July, an important visit of a delegation from the Perm region of the Russian Federation took place at Belarusian State Medical University. The delegation included high-level representatives of the regional authorities and medical institutions, which demonstrates the strategic interest of both parties in developing cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical tourism.

The delegation was represented by: Sergey Nikiforov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Perm region; Yulia Vetoshkina, Minister of Tourism of the Perm region; Kirill Prokhorov, Chief Physician of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Perm region "Clinical Cardiology Dispensary"; Evgeny Rozhnev, First Deputy Minister of Health of the Perm region; Olga Chudinova, information resources specialist of the Ministry of Tourism of the Perm region; Anna Blagonravova, Rector of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Perm State Medical University named after Academician E.A. Wagner” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation; Dmitry Karpinsky, Chairman of the Guild of Medical Organizations of the Private Healthcare System at the Perm Chamber of Commerce and Industry, General Director of the clinic “Guten Tag”.

The guests were received by Sergey Rubnikovich, Rector of the University, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Vasili Roudenok, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Yan Bedushevsky, head of the sector for export promotion of services of the state operator of medical tourism "Clinics of Belarus".

Rector of Belarusian State Medical University Sergey Rubnikovich welcomed the guests and introduced them to the history and present-day directions of the university. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation and expressed his readiness to expand joint projects.

During the visit, special attention was paid to the experience of Belarusian clinics in the field of medical tourism. Head of the sector for export promotion of services of the state operator of medical tourism "Clinics of Belarus" Yan Bedushevsky spoke in detail about the strategies for promoting Belarusian medical services on the international market, successful cases and prospects for joint initiatives with the Russian partners.

The delegation from Perm expressed interest in exchanging experiences and developing joint projects to develop medical tourism between regions. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, the guests invited the rector of Belarusian State Medical University to visit the Perm region and take part in the anniversary events dedicated to the anniversary of Perm State Medical University named after Academician E.A. Wagner.

Such dialogue opens up new horizons for strengthening interregional ties and developing the healthcare sector.
