High level of cooperation: BSMU received an honorary delegation from Azerbaijan
On the 2nd of June, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nadir Azer oglu Zeynalov visited Belarusian State Medical University. The visit of the distinguished guest confirmed the fruitful interstate relations in the fields of medicine and medical education that have developed between Belarus and Azerbaijan.
The delegation was received by Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Starovoitov, Rector of BSMU Sergey Rubnikovich, and Vice-Rector for International Relations of BSMU Dmitry Chuikov.
The central point of the visit was a visit to the practice-oriented training building of BSMU – one of the university’s most modern educational units. Here, under the guidance of experienced instructors, students acquire practical skills in providing medical care using high-tech simulation equipment, trainers, and phantoms. The guests were able to see how the educational process is organized, interact with the instructors, and assess the conditions in which future Belarusian doctors practice emergency procedures, surgical procedures, and patient care.
Nadir Azer oglu Zeynalov noted a high level of students’ training and the impressive material and technical resources of Belarusian State Medical University.
