Xth National Congress with International Participation "Parinsky Readings 2026"

On 7-8 May, there was held the anniversary X^th National Congress with international participation “Parinsky Readings 2026. Promising issues in surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, innovative technologies and multidisciplinary solutions" in Minsk.

Delegates from 5 countries (the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the People's Republic of China) and 27 institutions of higher education and continuing professional education participated in the congress.

During the congress, there were covered the following issues: oncology and malformations; combat trauma of the maxillofacial region and neck; pain and pain relief in surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery; infectious and inflammatory processes of the maxillofacial region and neck; reconstructive and restorative surgery of the maxillofacial region and neck; implantation and implant materials in surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery; integrative medicine in surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery; inpatient-replacing technologies and outpatient surgical dentistry; bisphosphonate osteonecrosis of the jaws.

There were held 15 sections, in accordance with the approved program.

The Congress pays due attention to stimulating and involving student youth into the active scientific research process. Traditionally, the Congress had a section “Results of Student Scientific Research”.

For the first time, the forum included sections on combat trauma of the maxillofacial region and neck; and morphology in the clinic of surgical dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.

In the specified sections, 6 lectures were given (1 online), 134 reports were presented (105 oral, of which 7 were given online and 29 posters). This number of reports and lectures were presented by 351 authors and co-authors.

An electronic collection of congress materials, 240 pages long and including 56 articles, has been prepared and published and has been posted in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) since 2018.

The Congress “Parinsky Readings” is a successful platform and event for the exchange of experience and information among specialists and researchers working in the field of head and neck medicine, thereby enhancing the knowledge and competencies of practicing physicians in the Republic of Belarus.
