Vice- Rector for International Relations of BSMU Vasili Roudenok participated in the meeting of the Commission on Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee

The next meeting of the Commission on Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee took place the other day at the National Library. This international event was held as part of the visit of the Chinese government delegation to the Republic of Belarus. 

The Vice-Rector for International Relations of Belarusian State Medical University also took part in it. According to the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vasili Ruodenok, the results of joint activities since the fourth meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee were summed up at this meeting.

The main directions of scientific and technical cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China were discussed, including the implementation of projects in the field of digital technologies, using artificial intelligence, high technologies in various spheres of life of the two states. According to the Belarusian and Chinese participants of the meeting, promising areas of cooperation are the implementation of joint educational projects, joint training of scientific personnel with subsequent protection of candidates for PhD and doctoral dissertations, etc.
