The Republican Center for Professional Certification and Simulation Training of Medical and Pharmaceutical Professionals began to function at Belarusian State Medical University

The Republican Center for Professional Certification and Simulation Training of Medical and Pharmaceutical Professionals was built in less than two years. There have been installed 180 units of high expert class simulation equipment of 78 items. The total cost of the equipment is more than 26 million rubles. A significant part of medical equipment and medical products was produced in the Republic of Belarus:

The center is located in a separate six-storied building, the total area of ​​which is 3793.31 square meters. From the 3rd to 6th floors there is a simulation clinic with classrooms and simulation rooms. To carry out the educational process and certification there are 8 training rooms, 10 instructor rooms, 34 simulation rooms.

The work of the center is organized according to the principle of a simulation clinic, consisting of 8 modules: “Anatomy and reflexology”, “Emergency and Intensive Care Clinic”, “Surgical Clinic”, “Endoscopic Room”, “Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic”, “Ultrasound Diagnostics Department”, “Dental Clinic”, “Clinic for Emergency Conditions in Pediatrics and Neonatology”.

Some equipment is unique both for the training process of specialists and for practicing medical specialists, for example, a virtual angiography simulator with feedback tactile sensitivity, which allows for the simulation of endovascular surgery. The disaster medicine room provides an opportunity to master the skills of first medical care to victims involved in a traffic accident, with a complete immersion into the situation (sounds of passing cars, nearby buildings, etc.) by using three-dimensional space and maintaining images from projectors. Operations centers allow the trainees to practice teamwork among medical professionals.

The center focuses on mastering of practical skills by students, interns, clinical residents, and trainees, as well as the certification (control of knowledge and practical skills) of specialists. It is designed for 35 thousand visits per year.

…The opening ceremony of the Republican Center for Professional Certification and Simulation Training of Medical and Pharmaceutical Professionals, which took place on the 2nd of November, was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, Minister of Health of Belarus Dmitry Pinevich, Rector of Belarusian State Medical University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Sergei Rubnikovich, Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev, students and specialists of the leading medical institution of higher education and other guests.

After the welcoming speeches of the honored guests of the celebration and the cutting of the symbolic scarlet ribbon, a sightseeing tour of the center took place, led by its administration and specialists.
