The Rector of Belarusian State Medical University became a participant in the "Week of Medical Education – 2024" and the meeting of the Council of Rectors of Medical and Pharmaceutical universities

On the ninth day of April, Rector of Belarusian State Medical University, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Sergey Rubnikovich became a participant in the XV All-Russian Conference with international participation "Week of Medical Education – 2024" and the General Meeting of the Association "Council of Rectors of Medical and Pharmaceutical Higher Educational Institutions", which took place within the framework of the International the exhibition-forum "Russia" in the pavilion "Education" of VDNH in Moscow.

The Rector of the leading medical institution of higher education of the Republic made a presentation on "The role of Belarusian State Medical University in the socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus".

In addition, Sergey Rubnikovich held negotiations with rectors and representatives of leading universities, scientific organizations, ministries and relevant departments of the Russian Federation, during which issues of expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the educational, scientific, technical and humanitarian spheres were discussed. Priority areas of cooperation in the field of science, in terms of academic mobility, training, implementation of joint educational programs, cooperation in the EEA, youth policy and other areas of scientific and educational interaction between Belarusian State Medical University and universities of the Russian Federation were also identified.

During the XV All–Russian conference "Week of Medical Education - 2024", the IX All-Russian Student Olympiad on practical medical training "Golden MedSkill" was held on the basis of Institute of Electronic Medical Education of First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov, in which the team of Belarusian State Medical University took part.
