The delegation of the All-Pakistan Federation of United Trade Unions was received at BSMU

It consisted of Samina Irfan, President of the All-Pakistan Federation of United Trade Unions, Saed Zia Azam, Secretary General of this organization, Saed Fasi Ul Hassan, Chairman of Youth Policy and Social Networks of the Federation, who are visiting the Republic of Belarus this week. The guests were met by Vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Yuri Sokolov, Head of the Department of International Relations Varvara Boika, Chairman of the primary trade union organization of workers Natalia Kibik. The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Republican Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers Vyacheslav Shilo, representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus and others.

A presentation of the leading medical university of Belarus was presented to the members of the delegation of the All-Pakistan Federation of United Trade Unions. After that, the negotiators identified possible ways of interaction.

The guests thanked the leadership of the educational institution for the warm welcome and emphasized that their arrival at the Belarusian State Medical University will contribute to strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and Belarus, which is actively developing thanks to close contacts at the highest level (not so long ago, the Head of the Belarusian State Alexander Lukashenko visited Islamabad, and a visit is planned for February next year in Minsk of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif).

As noted by foreign colleagues, their compatriots are interested in getting an education at Belarusian State Medical University. And we must hope that this issue will be resolved soon.

At the end of the meeting, a tour of the university was organized for the delegation of Pakistan, during which they visited the anatomical museum.
