Inauguration of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko: a solemn moment for the entire country

On the 25th of March, the inauguration of the newly elected President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko took place in the city of Minsk. This important event brought together more than 1,100 guests in the Hall of Ceremonies of the Palace of Independence. This moment became significant for the entire country, and representatives of Belarusian State Medical University took an active part in the celebration.

Rector of the university, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor Sergey Rubnikovich was among those invited to the inauguration ceremony.

Students and staff of Belarusian State Medical University were among those invited to the State Flag Square, where the ceremony of military personnel taking the oath of allegiance to the Belarusian people and the President took place.

Representatives of the BSMU student construction teams met Alexander Lukashenko on the way to the ceremony, creating an atmosphere of support and unity.

The university's faculty and students watched the ceremony online.

During the ceremony, Alexander Lukashenko took an oath in which he solemnly pledged “As I enter the President’s post of the Republic of Belarus, I swear faithfully to serve the people of the Republic of Belarus, to respect and defend the rights and freedoms of citizens, protect and defend the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and faithfully carry out my responsibilities”.

The solemn ceremony became a symbol of the unity of the country's civil society!
