Delegations of partner universities from the People's Republic of China were hosted at Belarusian State Medical University

On November 23, within the framework of the Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China, delegations of Nanjing Medical University visited Belarusian State Medical University (Professor Shen Ruilin – Vice President, Professor Yu Jinhua - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Lu Hui – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Professor Li Xin – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Wei Chunlei – representative of Nanjing Medical University in Belarus) and Xuzhou Medical University (Professor Wang Jun – Secretary of the Party Committee of School of International Education, Professor Qin Jianfeng – Head of the Sector of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange).

On November 22, the guests visited the University Dental Clinic, where at a round table together with the Chief Physician Oksana Korzun, Deputy Chief Physician Svetlana Shulgan, Deputy Head of the Department of Periodontology for Educational and Methodological Work, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Yulia Denisova, Deputy Head of the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry for Medical Work, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Alexander Golovko got acquainted with the organization of a practice-oriented educational process and dental care for the population.

And on November 23, Chinese colleagues met with Rector, Corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Sergey Rubnikovich, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vasili Roudenok. There was also a business meeting with the Dean of the Preventive Faculty, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Andrey Gindyuk, during which were discussed the issues of cooperation in the field of preventive medicine.

Aspects of the intensification of educational and scientific exchanges between universities within the framework of academic mobility, promising areas of bilateral cooperation were also considered: scientific projects and joint publications, joint scientific and practical conferences, exchange of experience on topical issues of medicine, etc. During the conversation, the parties agreed to expand the practice of bilateral exchanges, including in joint projects.

A day earlier, a delegation from Changchun University of Chinese Medicine was hosted at a leading medical university. Rector Lin Fei and Secretary of the Party Committee Jiang Fengyan held talks with Sergey Rubnikovich, Vasili Roudenok, Natalia Gurina, and also participated in an excursion of the university, during which they got acquainted with the material and technical base of the pharmaceutical faculty.

During the communication the parties discussed areas of cooperation, noting that it should begin with the exchange of teachers and students who will be able to study the specifics of the activities of partner universities.

After the negotiations, the guests visited the Faculty of Pharmacy, where they discussed the areas of interaction, as well as Simulation and Certification center, museum of Anatomy, museum of the History of Belarusian State Medical University.
