The Department's ideological and educational work is carried out in accordance with the Plan of ideological and educational work of the Belarusian State Medical University, the Plan of ideological and educational work of the Faculty, the Department, and other local legal acts.
Educational work at the department is carried out both within the framework of academic disciplines and during extracurricular activities in all areas of education: ideological education; civic and patriotic education; spiritual and moral education; aesthetic education; psychological culture education; physical culture education; physical improvement; education aimed at developing healthy lifestyle skills; family education; labor and professional education; education aimed at developing a careful attitude towards the environment and natural resources; education in the field of life safety; education in the field of everyday life and leisure; multicultural education; and economic education.
The department's ideological and educational activities include the participation of department staff and students in events dedicated to national holidays and memorable dates. Special attention is paid to promoting a healthy lifestyle and safe living, fostering a conscious and responsible attitude towards one's health among students, and preventing illegal behavior and negative phenomena among young people. The department also works with talented young people, regularly holds meetings of the student scientific club, and organizes visits to students living in dormitories. Various forms of work are used in ideological and educational activities: information hours within the framework of the Unified Information Day, thematic conversations, round tables, actions, contests, excursions, and volunteer projects are implemented. Issues of ideological and educational work are regularly discussed at the department's meetings.

Visiting the Republican Theatre of Belarusian Drama
A visit to the theatre of foreign students of group 6110 and 6114, together with the curator, took place on 25.02.2026. The visit was offered to the Republican Theatre of Belarusian Drama with the production "Vechar". From the very beginning, the students' attention was captured by the acting of the actors, it was so lively and expressive that the plot became clear without translation. The students watched a live story about love, about life, about choice, about eternal human values. I was particularly impressed by how much could be understood from gestures, intonations and the general atmosphere. It was not just entertainment, but immersion in another reality. After the performance, the students walked around the evening city for a long time and discussed what they had seen. Someone shared their guesses about the plot, someone shared their emotions from the scenes, and someone just confessed. : "I realized a lot more than I expected."
