The medical and consulting activities of the department are regulated by the relevant documents of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian State Medical University.
The staff of the department consult patients, make routine medical rounds, assistants of the department consult the medical wards.
In addition, the department carries out outpatient consultative work in the polyclinics of the Zavodskoy district in Minsk.
Employees of the department are involved in consultations through the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Aid, work as consultants at the teaching and learning center of the Belarusian State Medical University, in addition, the department provides monthly consultations to BSMU students.
The staff of the department carry out more than 16,000 consultations of patients annually. All curators of departments have the highest medical category, are candidates and doctors of medical sciences.
The 1st Department of Internal Medicine is located at 3 clinical bases:
The main base is a multidisciplinary clinical hospital No. 10, Additional: 3rd city clinical hospital and 11th city clinical hospital.
Assistants of the department carry out external consultations at the above-mentioned bases in other departments of clinics, consult patients in the admission department.
Outpatient counseling work in clinics of the Zavodskoy district in Minsk. The staff of the department is involved in consultations through the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Aid.
