Practical classes are conducted on the basis of various departments of children’s hospitals, ie 2nd children’s hospital, children’s infections diseases hospital, 17th children’s Minsk polyclinic, neonatology departments of maternity hospitals.
In December 2004, a new hi-tech hospital was opened in accordance with the Development roadmap of the 2nd City Children’s Clinical Hospital approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus. It provides high-quality specialized medical care in the field of urology (surgery), nephrology, cardiology and endocrinology to inpatients and comply with the state diagnostic and treatment standards.

The Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Mother and Child” is the leading institution of the Republic in the
areas of neonatology, medical genetics, obstetrics and gynecology. The center provides high-tech and highly
specialized assistance in the most difficult cases of perinatal pathology; active scientific, organizational and
methodological work is underway to improve perinatal care.
