BSMU and Changchun University of Chinese Medicine are developing a scientific partnership

On the 15^th of June, there was held an online meeting with colleagues from the First Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Chinese Medicine – Professor Jiajuan Guo and Professor Yingzi Cui.

The meeting was attended by the following representatives from the side of Belarusian State Medical University: Vice-Rector for International Relations Dmitry Chuikov; Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Natalia Gurina; Head of the Department of Cardiology and Internal Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Natalia Mitkovskaya; Professor of the Department of Cardiology and Internal Medicine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Elena Grigorenko; Professor of the Department of Normal Anatomy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Vasili Roudenok; Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmacy Organization with a course of advanced training and retraining, Candidate of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Ershik.

The main topic of the negotiations was a discussion of a joint scientific project aimed at studying a herbal remedy for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

During the meeting, the parties agreed on a plan for further cooperation and identified prospects for preclinical and clinical research.
