Belarusian State Medical University has received accreditation from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran

These days, the entrance campaign continues for foreign applicants, including citizens of Iran.

Last week, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran included the Belarusian State Medical University in the list of foreign higher educational institutions, whose diplomas are recognized in this country.

On July 30, the head of the Iranian diplomatic mission congratulated rector of BSMU, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Sergey Rubnikovich on this event. The meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Alireza Sanei (he, by the way, was accompanied by Embassy employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Republic of Belarus) was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vasili Roudenok, Executive Secretary of admissions Committee, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Andrei Hindziuk, Dean of the Medical Faculty for International Students, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Oleg Ishutin, Dean of the Faculty of Career Guidance and Pre-University Training, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Mikalaj Alchovik.

As Sergey Rubnikovich and Alireza Sanei emphasized, this significant event is the result of joint efforts of the Belarusian and Iranian sides. This will contribute to more active interaction between two states in the education sector and will become the basis for the development of cooperation in the scientific area, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.

During constructive meeting, the participants discussed in detail the organizational aspects of implementation of decision concerning accreditation of the leading institution of higher medical education of the Republic of Belarus under the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and agreed to continue this dialogue.
