Scientific activity is an integral part of the life of international students, which is confirmed by their active participation in the work of student scientific circles of the Belarusian State Medical University, successful presentations at domestic and international conferences, publications in medical journals and collections.
One of the most important events for international students who are interested in scientific research is participation in the scientific and practical conference of students and young scientists with international participation 'Actual problems of modern medicine and Pharmacy', where students have the opportunity to convey to the audience the results of their research work, improve professional knowledge in their chosen field.
The students actively participate in scientific and practical conferences and subject Olympiads of other medical universities of the Republic of Belarus, countries of the near and far abroad. Their high achievements prove the high potential and opportunities of students’ research activities.
The number of participants from among foreign citizens is constantly increasing, which indicates the prestige of conferences and Olympiads held abroad, the number of submitted works is constantly growing, which is confirmed by the increase in the number of prizes awarded to the best student research.
Results of the XXXI Republican Competition of Student Scientific Works
The results of the XXXI Republican contest of students' scientific works have been summarised. More than 50 institutions of higher education took part in the contest. Our Alma Mater submitted 265 works to the contest. Students of the Medical Faculty of Foreign Students submitted 8 works, which were awarded the categories of 2nd and 3rd degree.
