Highly qualified specialists of the Department provide effective diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive care to the patients in accordance with the agreement between Belarusian State Medical University and Dental Clinics.
Every year thousands of patients get effective dental treatment. Treatment measures include caries and non-caries lesions restorations (more than 5 thousand per year), endodontic treatment (one thousand visits per year), professional oral hygiene (3 thousand visits and more), treatment of periodontal and oral mucosal diseases (1000-2000 visits every year), as well as preventive procedures (about 12 thousand visits every year).
Fifth year grade students work with the patients under thorough guidance of the dental teacher of the Department. Students develop practical skills in modern methods of conservative treatment of teeth, periodontal and oral mucosa diseases, correct filling of medical documentation. The favorable conditions for getting of up-to-date knowledge and skills are created at the Department.
