Swimming competitions in the program of the Republican Universiade-2024/2025

From the 5^th to the 8^th of May, there were held the swimming competitions of the Republican Universiade 2024/2025 at the Sports and Recreation Complex “Traktor” in Minsk.

Our team was represented by the following students: Irina Varenik, group 8302, Faculty of Pharmacy, Anastasia Esman, group 1312, Faculty of Medicine, Egor Trubach, group 1301, Medical Faculty, Arseniy Putikov, group 1611, Medical Faculty, Anastasiya Shulyakovskaya, group 1220, Medical Faculty, Maria Chernukho, group 7206, Faculty of Dentistry, Sofia Poloz, group 7111, Faculty of Dentistry, Anna Akula, group 1202, Faculty of Medicine, Darya Parvanova, group 7405 of the Faculty of Dentistry, Daniil Chernevich, group 4302 of the Military Medical Institute, Roman Khomich, group 7315, Faculty of Dentistry, Maksim Stasyuk, group 1530, Faculty of Medicine, instructor – Aleksandr Bezmen, senior lecturer, Department of Physical Education and Sports. Our athletes competed in 23 disciplines.

The national swimming team included candidates and masters of sport. It is important and gratifying to note that all the boys and girls successfully combine workloads that require colossal amounts of time and effort to master difficult educational programs and sports training.

The recent competitions once again demonstrated the high level of skills and team spirit of our university team. It was these qualities that allowed us to take the 10^th place in the overall standings among 23 teams from higher education institutions of the Republic of Belarus.
