Successful participation of the Department of Occupational Hygiene in the competition of young scientists at the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference

On the 22-25^th of April, 2025, the Department of Occupational Hygiene took part in the XV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Internet Conference of young scientists and specialists of Rospotrebnadzor with international participation "Hygiene, environment and health risks in modern conditions", held online in Saratov.

The conference featured 64 reports on current hygiene issues from the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The scientific directions of the conference included the issues of the hygiene of labor and professional pathology, clinics, diagnostics and prevention of occupational diseases, modern issues of the hygiene of the human environment, issues of the hygiene of nutrition, hygiene of children and teenagers and etc.

The conference was held at Saratov Medical Scientific Center of Hygiene of the Federal Scientific Center of Medical and Preventive Technology for Risk Management of Public Health of Rospotrebnadzor. The organizers of the conference were Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, Federal Scientific Center for Medical and Preventive Health Risk Management Technologies of the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare.

The Department of Occupational Health of our university submitted three online reports to the open competition of research papers among students and young scientists at the conference: student research papers “Hygienic assessment of microclimate parameters in the workplaces of a machine-building enterprise” by Ksenia Katushonok (4^th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Prevention), "Hygienic assessment of athletes' diet" and "Analysis of morbidity of workers at a machine-building enterprise" by Elizaveta Komissarova (4^th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Prevention), prepared jointly with senior lecturer Ksenia Bogdanovich.

All the works presented by the department aroused interest and active discussion among the conference participants. The report “Hygienic evaluation of the diet of sportsmen” prepared by Elizaveta Komissarova and Kseniya Bogdanovich was highly appreciated by the competition committee and won the II^nd place in the competition of scientific and research works among students and young scientists, which was awarded by a diploma.
