More than 60 specialists from all regions of Belarus received retraining diplomas in the specialty “Public Health Organization”
The course No. 756 in the specialty of retraining 9-09-0911-29 “Public Health Organization” in extramural form of study was completed at the Department of Public Health Organization of the educational institution “Belarusian State Medical University”. 62 doctors received retraining diplomas - representatives of state and non-state healthcare organizations from all regions of the Republic of Belarus.
As part of the practice-oriented training, course participants studied not only theoretical material, but also became familiar with the work of leading healthcare organizations of Belarus, the city of Minsk and the Grodno region (Ostrovets Central District Hospital), they met with the employees of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, the apparatus of the Republican Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers, and the main freelance specialists of the Ministry of Health of Belarus in a number of areas of activity.
The retraining course was completed by the protection of the coursework in the discipline “Health Economics,” which students had been preparing during their training at the department on the basis of their own work experience, and by passing the state comprehensive exam of the state examination commission.
On the 11th of October, there had been held the graduation ceremony. The Chairman of the State Examination Commission, Chief Physician of the State Institution “Republican Clinical Medical Center” of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Irina Abelskaya, congratulated the graduates on the completion of the course, emphasized that the retraining diplomas indicate the students’ readiness to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education of Healthcare Workers, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Tatyana Kalinina, congratulated the graduates and noted the importance of continuity of medical education.
Certified health professionals expressed sincere satisfaction with the competencies acquired during retraining and promised to use this knowledge to improve the availability and quality of medical care provided to the population for the benefit of the prosperity of the Republic of Belarus!
