Military attachés visited BSMU: strengthening of international relations in military medicine
On February 18, Belarusian State Medical University hosted a significant reception for military attachés from 17 countries accredited in the Republic of Belarus.
The university was represented by: Vice-Rector for International Relations Dmitry Chuikov; Head of the Military Medical Institute Dmitry Klimenkov; Head of the Department of International Relations Varvara Boyko; and Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations Nadezhda Kolyago. The university was visited by representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic of Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Cuba, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Russian Federation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Finland, the Czech Republic and the Swiss Confederation.
During the visit, the attachés learned about the educational process at Belarusian State Medical University, its research projects, and modern approaches to training of medical personnel. Particular attention was paid to the activities of the military medical institute. Guests were given a tour around the BSMU simulation and certification center, as well as the tactical medicine center.
The accredited military diplomats expressed their gratitude for the reception, emphasizing a high level of training at our university.
