BSMU welcomed a delegation of the Vietnam-Russia Medical Group

On 20 August, Belarusian State Medical University hosted a meeting with representatives of the Socialist Republic of VietNam.

The delegation included Mr. Duong Chi Kien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam-Russia Medical Group; Mr. Duong Chi Dat, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Medical Group and General Director of the Vietnam-Russia International Ophthalmology Clinic in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Nguyen Tu Anh, Director of Vietnam-Russia Technology and Medicine Joint Stock Company; and Ms. Duong Thanh Binh, Secretary of the delegation.

The Belarusian side was represented by Sergey Rubnikovich, Rector of Belarusian State Medical University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor; Dmitry Chuikov, Vice-Rector for International Relations; Yan Bedushevsky, Head of the Service Export Promotion Sector; and Varvara Boiko, Head of the Department of International Relations.

During the meeting, the Belarusian side presented the scientific and educational potential of BSMU, as well as the state medical services information portal "Clinics of Belarus" as an effective tool for promoting Belarusian healthcare services in the international market.

The Vietnamese delegation expressed great interest in organizing advanced training programmes for Vietnamese ophthalmologists at BSMU, holding joint scientific and practical conferences, and promoting the exchange of clinical experience.
