BSMU expands collaboration with the Great Stone residents: new prospects for young scientists

On April 7, the university once again was visited by its partner from the China-Belarus Industrial Park "Great Stone" - LLC Haihunbel Medical Scientific and Technical Company.

The company delegation was represented by Deputy General Director Ma Min and Head of Marketing Oleg Novikov.

The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations of BSMU Dmitry Chuikov, Professor of the Department of Normal Anatomy Vasili Roudenok, and Head of the International Relations Department Varvara Boyko.

A key outcome of the negotiations was the proposal from the side of China to train graduate students and young faculty from BSMU at Guangxi Medical University, according to the program "Digital Medicine in Traumatology and Orthopedics".

As part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Government's program, young scientists from BSMU will be able to master advanced digital technologies, as well as modern diagnostic and treatment methods in traumatology and orthopedics, at a leading Chinese university in the cities of Nanning and Fangchenggang.

The parties confirmed their intention to work out the organizational and academic aspects of sending Belarusian specialists to study in the People's Republic of China in the near future.
