Bronze with a champion's spirit: Belarusian State Medical University team "Vortex" conquered the international cheerleading festival

On April 11-12, the BSMU cheerleading team "Vortex" took part in the international festival "Cheerleading Cup among teams of higher educational institutions". The competition took place at the Republican Centre for Olympic Training in Game Sports – “Sports Palace”.

Our students made a strong showing at the largest international cheerleading festival among universities in the Republic of Belarus. For the Vortex team, this had become more than just a competition, but a true test of strength, where grace, strength, and an unbreakable spirit came together. Behind every second of its spectacular performance there were months of training under the guidance of Elena Oleshkevich, senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Education and Sports.

Following the competition, the team won a bronze medal, which became a powerful incentive for further growth. The team has set itself an ambitious goal: to analyze its performance, strengthen its preparation, and next year fight exclusively for the first place.
