The Department is responsible for teaching the discipline «Pathological Anatomy» for 2-3 year students (in specialties 1-79 01 01 «General Medicine» and 1-79 01 07 «Dentistry») and 6 year students (Clinical Pathology course for specialty 1-79 01 01 «General Medicine»).
The teaching staff of the department conduct active consultative and diagnostic work at the clinical bases of the department in accordance with modern protocols and standards of morphological investigations.
The Department provides training in the discipline «Forensic Medicine» for 4-5 year students (in specialties 1-79 01 01 «General Medicine» and 1-79 01 07 «Dentistry»)
As a result of studying at the Department students acquire forensic medical knowledge and skills necessary for their future professional activity.
Objectives of the Department:
- organization and management of educational and methodological work in the disciplines taught at the department;
- conducting educational and ideological work with BSMU students;
- research in the field ofPathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine;
- • methodological and advisory assistance in clinical bases of the department.
