Every year about 40 students participate in the work of the Students' Science Club of the Microbiology virology, immunology department. Students take part in the conferences, make experimental researches, participate in the academic competition by microbiology, virology, immunology.
The main directions of experimental student scientific research: bacteriology, immunology, virology, molecular microbiology.
Students can choose one of the directions and perform:
- Theoretical research;
- Experimental research.
The data obtained in the course of theoretical and experimental research, students can provide:
- Like an oraly presentation: at the meetings of the Students' Science Club of the Microbiology virology, immunology department; at the Annual Scientific Student Conference at BSMU, other student conferences in the Republic of Belarus and other countries.
- Like an articles and abstracts
- Like a student scientific research for the Republican competition of student scientific researches
Before the winter session the department holds an academic competition by microbiology, virology, immunology. Anyone who has colloquial marks of at least 7 points can take part in it.
