Scientific work of students of General Chemistry

Supervisor: Poboinev Victor Vitoldovich
Leader: Bondar Yu. A.

The scope of the work of the student scientific community is huge. The range of topics for scientific student work at the Department of General Chemistry is not limited to molecular evolution. Some of the works are traditionally devoted to issues of computational biology, in particular genomics, proteomics, metallomics; research is also conducted on issues of general chemistry.

In 2019, 42 students were engaged in the scientific community of the department. Schoolchildren are also actively involved in the work of the circle. 6 research papers were submitted to the XXVI Republican competition of students' scientific works, both in the section 'Fundamental medicine' and in the sections 'Clinical medicine' and 'Pharmaceutical sciences'. Five works won prizes.

The members of the student scientific community of the Department of General Chemistry traditionally publish their papers in the world's leading journals, such as  Metallomics and Mutation Research - Fundamental and Molecular Mechanisms of Mutagenesis.
