The staff of the department oversee a number of first-year academic groups of the medical faculty for foreign students. Ideological work is carried out both during school hours and after school hours. Curators study students, their interests and inclinations, requests, marital status. Issues of everyday life and the financial situation of students are not left without attention. If difficulties arise, curators help in resolving them.
The upbringing of young people should be aimed at the formation of a humane personality focused on hard work, responsibility, professional and humanitarian culture, as well as a culture of interaction with people around them.
An important part of the curators' work is the involvement of students in research work: department group of young researchers, subject Olympiads, competitions of student research papers.
