Masterclasses, workshops, lectures, videoconferences

One of the most important directions of Belarusian State Medical University international cooperation is improvement of the educational process by attracting leading world experts from partner universities, foreign scientific and practical centers and international organizations to conduct workshops, trainings, master classes, lecture courses on topical issues of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy for faculty staff, Master’s degree students, PhD students, clinical residents and students.

In 2014, the Laboratory of Practical Training at Belarusian State Medical University was opened in order to ensure high-quality practical training of physicians in accordance with educational standards, what increased the necessity for the advanced training of teachers in simulation training. Every year, university partners from the Russian Society for Simulation Education in Medicine (ROSOMED) conduct training for the university faculty staff on simulation training in medicine, the use of simulation technologies, the development and conduct of practical skills training, the development and implementation of complex clinical scenarios.

Teleconferences and videoconferences with colleagues from near and far abroad are carried out with the use of videoconferencing equipment as one of the modern forms of training and exchange of experience.

Teleconferences are held between Belarusian State Medical University and partner universities in Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Israel, China, Japan, Italy, Canada and other countries, which allow inviting leading world experts to give lectures and share achievements on topical issues of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. Webinars open up new opportunities for distance learning.
