Academic Mobility

Academic mobility of higher education teaching staff and students is one of the key components of internationalization of higher education and university integration into international educational system.

Belarusian State Medical University is always open for cooperation with new partners: year by year the university expands the network of bilateral and multilateral agreements in the field of academic mobility.

International academic mobility of the higher education teaching staff is implemented through:

  • participation in scientific-practical conferences;
  • lecturing, holding of seminars, and workshops;
  • participation in scientific work within conjoint topics;
  • implementation of conjoint scientific-research projects;
  • participation in advanced professional training programs;
  • on-the-job internship.

Annually, the internship and advanced professional training programs are organized abroad for the higher education teaching staff.

The participation of students in academic mobility programs is implemented within bi-/multilateral agreements on the University’s cooperation with foreign scientific-educational establishments in the form of undergoing the part of practical training according to a principle of incorporated education on parity basis and participation in educational, scientific, cultural, and sports events.
