Inaugural Anatomy Olympiad (English) at the Belarusian State Medical University

As participation in the English section of the Anatomy Circle at BSMU increased and students expressed enthusiasm for competitive events, the student-teachers took the initiative to organize the first Anatomy Olympiad in English.

Under the guidance of the professors of the Department of Normal Anatomy, the student-teachers of the Anatomy Circle prepared 120 multiple-choice questions from the following sections: Anatomy of the Head, Neck, Thorax, Abdomen & Pelvis, Upper Limb and Lower Limb. Each student had 2 hours to complete the task.

The winners of the Olympiad were the following:

1st place: Shiyanuka Pavalalingam (6113)
2nd place: Abdul Asees Mohamed Shamith (6117)
3rd place: Eswaran Vinayaga Sundari (6134)

The Olympiad showcased the students’ strong understanding of anatomy, reflecting the dedication of both students and their teachers. Our heartfelt congratulations to the winners and sincere appreciation to all the participants.

The English section of the Anatomy Circle meets every Saturday and welcomes all students eager to deepen their understanding of human anatomy in a collaborative and engaging environment. Whether you're looking to strengthen your preparation for exams, explore anatomy beyond the syllabus, or participate in future Olympiads, the doors will always be open to you.

The inaugural Olympiad was a proud milestone for the Anatomy Circle’s English section. We aim to make it an annual tradition — bigger, better, and more competitive each year. Join us every Saturday and be part of what comes next.
