The Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Radiation Therapy is part of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Belarusian State Medical University. The department is assigned academic discipline – “Radiation diagnostics and radiation therapy”.
The department carries out training in the following specialties: 1-79 01 01 General Medicine; 1-79 01 02 Pediatrics; 1-79 01 07 Dentistry. Teaching is carried out to 3-year students in the section of traditional radiology, as well as modern technologies of medical imaging, X-ray computed tomography (RKT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound (USD), radioisotope research methods. Students receive information on the basics of radiation therapy.
The department employs a professor, 4 associate professors, 2 senior teacher, an assistant.
