The Department of Philosophy and Political Science provides training for students in the following disciplines: philosophy, sociology, logic, political science, human rights, the foundations of the ideology of the Belarusian state, history of Belarus, the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet people (in the context of World War II), history of Belarusian culture.
The department conducts classes for undergraduate students and PhD students in the course 'Philosophy and Methodology of Science'.
Currently, the department employs 12 teachers, including 7 PhD graduates, 1 doctoral student and 3 PhD students.
Office work at the department is carried out by 3 laboratory assistants.
