- Promote the ideals of friendship and mutual understanding between different countries and nationalities - one of the priorities of Belarusian State Medical University;
- strengthen credibility and prestige of BSMU as Belarusian and International center for training and continuing education of scientific workforce and experts at the international level; promote the development of pedagogical, scientific and technical potential of BSMU;
- Promote the integration of BSMU into the world education system, develop and expand international relations with educational organizations and institutions including national, regional and international ones;
- Combine the efforts for complete academic and professional recognition of BSMU diplomas establishing their equivalency according to international agreements and conventions;
- Promote international, cultural, humanitarian, educational, engineering and technical cooperation in various fields of science, culture, education and environmental protection;
- Assist state, public and international organizations in the areas pertaining to activities of the Association;
- Cooperate with international and public organizations to develop priority areas of international research in the field of education and improvement of educational systems;
- Contribute to the extension of professional interests of the Association members, practical improvement of their professional skills; provide them with moral, legal and other support in the implementation and protection of the rights and freedoms;
- Eexpand humanitarian, educational, scientific and business contacts between Belarusian State Medical University and its alumni, members of the Association, and their families;
- Carry out educational activities aimed at the implementation of professional training programs, programs of additional professional education and training in the countries with the Association affiliations;
- Assist members of the Association in enhancing their professional development and continuing education at BSMU and other educational and research institutions of Belarus;
- Promote dissemination and use of Russian as the language of international communication; improve the teaching of Russian and foreign languages;
- Assist members of the Association in difficult areas of their everyday life;
- Participate in the implementation of international, national and local programs on various activities of the Association;
- Assist members of the Association in establishing and maintaining contacts with organizations and individuals concerned as well as preparing and holding negotiations on collaboration;
- Develop relations with UNESCO, other international, governmental and non-governmental organizations on matters concerning the activities of the Association;
- Provide visa support to the members of Association, as well as scholars, teachers and professionals arriving at scientific and other conferences and participating in the development of joint programs and projects;
- Organization and implementation of any other activities contributing to the development of Belarusian State Medical University and the Association which do not contradict to the objectives of the Association and the applicable standards of Belarusian and international law.
