Olga Vodianova, Associate Professor of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics and Radiation Therapy, presented several scientific papers at the Nevsky Radiological Forum

The XV International Congress "Nevsky Radiological Forum" was held in St. Petersburg from April 11 to 13. His program was compiled taking into account modern achievements of medical science, and it covered almost all sections of clinical radiology and radiology. The congress was attended by Russian and foreign scientists, leading experts in the field of radiation diagnostics. The Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Healthcare Personnel of Belarusian State Medical University was represented by Associate Professor of the Department of Radiation Diagnostics, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Olga Vodianova. Among the delegates of the forum were representatives of all federal districts of the Russian Federation, as well as specialists from the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The issues of radiation diagnostics of oncological diseases, diseases of the cardiovascular system, emergency diagnosis of acute diseases and injuries, including combat trauma, were considered. Olga Vodianova spoke at the scientific section on the theses "Radiation diagnostics of diseases and injuries of the cardiovascular system" with a report "The use of MSCT angiography in the diagnosis and prognosis of pulmonary arterial hypertension". In addition, a poster presentation "Meloreostosis. A clinical case" and the thesis "The effect of body composition on low bone mineral density in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus" was published. At the same time, special emphasis was placed on the issues of radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. Attention was also paid to modern information technologies and telemedicine.

Participation in this scientific event contributed to the demonstration of the capabilities of Belarusian State Medical University to the medical community, the intensification of international communications, the establishment and strengthening of professional contacts in the field of radiation diagnostics, educational and scientific innovation activities.
