Mini-football competition for the Rector's Cup was won by the team of 6-th dormitory

From April 16 to 18 there had been held the annual sports festival at stadium of educational institution "Belarusian State Medical University". Eight national teams from dormitories № 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10 took part in the competition.

The chief judge of the competition Alexander Shabunya familiarized the participants with conditions of competition. Football competitions were divided into preliminary and final games. And then the table of preliminary games was divided into two groups A and B. In group A the teams met from the dormitories № 3, 5, 7, 10. In Group B the teams met from dormitories № 1, 2, 4, 6.

Results of Group A games:

The 1-st place was taken by team of the dormitory № 7;

The 2-nd place – team of the dormitory № 10;

The 3-rd place – team of the dormitory № 5;

The 4-th place is team of the dormitory № 3.

Results of Group B games:

The 1-st place – team of the dormitory № 6;

The 2-nd place – team of the dormitory № 1;

The 3-rd place – team of the dormitory № 4;

The 4-th place is team of the dormitory № 2.

Since there are only four outfield players in futsal, who are in action all the time, they are required to have a better understanding of the game and each other. The match is almost uninterrupted. This is where you can show your skills!

The results of the match meetings did not reflect the intensity of games that prevailed on the football field. The national teams of the dormitory № 6 and the dormitory № 7 competed for the main trophy. The result of game is 5:0, and Rector's Cup is for the team of the dormitory № 6.

The remaining places were distributed as follows: the 2-nd place was taken by the team of the dormitory № 7, the 3-rd place was taken by the team of the dormitory № 1, having won with a score of 2:1 (by penalty shootout) over the team of the dormitory № 10, which respectively took the 4-th place. The fifth place belongs to the team of the dormitory № 4, the 6-th place belongs to the team of the dormitory № 5, the 7-th place belongs to the team of the dormitory № 2 and the 8-th place belongs to the team of the dormitory № 3.

Well done guys! Rector's Cup was awarded to the winning team. In addition, the winner and prizewinners received diplomas, medals and prizes.
