The leading medical University of Belarus and Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine agreed to cooperate

Belarusian State Medical University and Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine have signed a cooperation agreement. It provides for cooperation in the field of the educational process, joint research, seminars, master classes, scientific and practical conferences, etc.

The delegation of Zhejiang University, the 3rd affiliated hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, consisting of Yang Chao, Director of the Department of Scientific Research, Zhou Jie, Deputy Director of the Educational Department of the Clinic, Li Jingtu, Deputy Head of the Massage Department, Zhang Qiwen, Doctor of the 3rd affiliated clinic, visited the Department of Reflexology of Belarusian State Medical University and the Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine, located on the basis of the 10th Minsk City Clinical Hospital. The guests delivered two lectures to the students of the retraining course on the application of traditional Chinese medicine methods for the treatment of patients with neurological manifestations of osteochondrosis of the cervical and lumbosacral spine. Then a master class was held on the treatment of these diseases using classical acupuncture, electro reflexotherapy, manual therapy and massage.

The Head of the Department of Reflexology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexander Sivakov held talks with Chinese colleagues, during which they discussed the issue of jointly organizing two advanced training courses for Belarusian doctors in 2025. The participants of the meeting noted the need to further intensify cooperation in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.
