Academic mobility. Cooperation in the field of scientific interests
Professor of the Department of Surgical Dentistry of Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Tatyana Shevela took part in the Final scientific section with international participation “Arctic medicine: the scientific heritage of M. V. Lomonosov and development prospects”. This event was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and took place in the city of Arkhangelsk on the 19th of November. The session was held as part of the LIII Lomonosov Readings at the Northern State Medical University, which is a partner of Belarusian State Medical University.
The plenary session was opened by Lyubov Gorbatova, Rector of the Northern State Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor. She emphasized the importance of the progress of medical science and communication.
At the plenary session of the section “Current issues in dentistry”, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tatyana Shevela made the report “Etiological factors in the development of peri-implantitis”.
Head of the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Surgical Dentistry of the Northern State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexander Minkin, head of the Department of Orthopedic Dentistry of NSMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tatyana Yushmanova, as well as leading specialists from other medical universities and institutions talked about scientific cooperation and plans concerning experience exchange.
Communication with the colleagues from the Russian Federation and CIS countries, exchange of experience on current problems of dental science, the latest data in the field of surgical treatment of dental diseases made it possible to strengthen bilateral scientific and academic cooperation between the Belarusian and Northern state medical universities.
